You might remember better than I, but didn't Mark arrive in the country Thursday or Friday then make his debut that weekend destroying Wakefield single handedly? Wonderful player. 

Mike Eccles absolutely deserves a role at the club going forward. He's the perfect person to ensure we build on what we have but also grow in a way that brings existing stakeholders (including fans and the community game) on board.


It's exciting to see new owners come on board who can see the potential of the club. We were always going backwards under Hughes who never had any vision or strategy for the club. It was just a toy to him. 


The club staff have really stepped up to keep things going so really hope they are not now cast aside.

So the deal is done with Darren Lockyer etc having 90% and Gary Hetherington 10%. .
I would say that the club is in good hands with people who know the game and can and will take us forward.
We will now see how insular the RFL in how they award the additional SL places. Surely Darren Lockyer is the Golden Ticket for the Broncos,
but this is the RFL we are talking about here.
Pleased to see Mike having a position at the club, he has a lot to give and he might be handy if Jason Demetriou fails.
