its in the paper 2 day tht city have to sell 130 millon pounds worth of players to reach the miniunm of 25 players in there squad they have to sell the likes of de jong, ireland and bellamy for price nearly halved then wat they payed
Wow, it says so in the NoTW so it must be true......
"City boss Roberto Mancini is under pressure to sell of a number of players in order to reduce his 37-man squad to 25 in order to comply with Premier League rules. This could mean the sale of striker Craig Bellamy and midfielders Nigel De Jong and Stephen Ireland." Full story: News of the World
The same newspapers headlines that predicted Joe Cole to united and Capello wouldnt even return to the UK if England didnt win the world cup!!!
Mancini has already said he wants TWO WORLD CLASS players for each position so there will be some comings and goings. City can afford to waste money on selling players cut price. Will Mancini sell without a BETTER replacement; I dont it.
Another fact to bear in mind is that the premisership have said that ALL premiership squads for 2009/2010 will qualify for the 2010/11 rules so it appears that there is no need to panic just yet!!!!
