Was much said on Sky about the forward pass pass for their first try? Happened infront of me and could tell i was a mile fwd
Ball travelled backwards relative to the player but about 18mph forward relative to the ground.

Kevin Brown was much more positive about Wire than others in the commentary team. If we can get Walker back & keep the spine together. Less so about the supporters. And yet the atmosphere was half decent yesterday based on some good play early on. Supporting a team is a two way street the team also has a responsibility to get that backing from the terraces and based on the recent run, yesterday was a much needed boost in the points and effort department, it certainly felt that way in the ground and the support responded. I don't think that we have hit toxic levels just yet (I thought I'd heard that phrase on here or reported in the media somewhere) but I'd suggest that the confidence that the crowd has in the team is consistent with their performances of late and there is little credit in the bank, the upward trend of last season seems a long way away. There is a nervousness about us (the crowd) that I'd hope the team can fix, as it's not a winning formula but in simple terms we have extended passages of play with all the ball all the territory and little to show for it and we don't look resilient defending. Positive performances aplenty yesterday both Thewlis's, Dufty, Williams, Sneyd, Harrison, Vaughan and Currie I thought were excellent and the rest were decent enough to the point where I'm getting a bit fed up of people constantly bagging Tai Crowther and Powell. It's all about opinions of course but I thought Tai came out with some credit last week and why aren't we celebrating that try saving tackle this week? Has this season been good enough? No. Can they fix it? Yes. Will it be too little too late? Probably Some really good points in this post. Yes it is a two way thing with fans, you want praise then it as to be earned it’s not a given. I like to think a lot of posters on here actually watch the games I mean really watch them and not just turn up for a day out. Those of us that do can see when a performance is being put in or are just stealing a wage that day. Said this often enough to be paid to play sport is a privilege not many get the chance to do. No disrespect to the person working on a factory line but you come under more scrutiny in sport because people are paying to watch you. My point being the constant bagging you refer to with some players, these are people’s views and observations and in some cases stats to back it up. I concede stats don’t show everything but that’s how it is. No the season has not been good enough not even close for a club with the supposed ambitions it as, I say supposed because they have said it for years and we no further on hence attention now focused on Moran, Middleton and Fitzpatrick. Can it be fixed YES of course it can but how much longer do we have to wait. I know winning the big prize is not a given but at least let’s be seen to be trying on a more consistent base. Unlike now turn up one season turn off the next. Right now and im shooting myself in the foot here I’m not overly bothered about reaching the playoffs more than let’s have a consistent finish to the current season. Then again after watching that Wigan game last night who were very fortunate to win with a couple of dubious decisions if we got to the playoffs I think we would have a chance. Bit contradictory on my part but heyho it’s all opinion. One last thing and it’s a shame you can not PM people on here anymore but would any of the regular posters on here like to meet up at some point and have our own fans forum/meeting instead of falling out on here at times, I think it would be different and views would not be misinterpreted so much. Sorry, I missed reading this last paragraph of your post. I would attend a Wire Supporters fans` meeting/debate. I would also be happy to meet and in fact took a leap of faith and a bag of Werthers not long after joining the forum as fellow newbie Winslade's Offload offered to pick me up at the Worsley Junction of the M62 as we headed over to Yorkshire on a blind date away game haha...it could have been a L O N G day but it worked for two 'out of towners' (in a Warrington sense) the time whizzed by, he's a decent guy and I think we might have won. I understand that some people don't attend matches but would suggest that if it was to happen an hour or two before a home game, possibly once the summer holiday period is over, might be the best bet, rather than a random Tuesday night at season's end. The home game v Leigh Saturday 6th September??

| I remember talking to Stan Wall, the rugby referee many years ago at Wilderspool. I asked him how does he spot a forward pass? He told me that the crowd tells him.

The home game v Leigh Saturday 6th September?? Don’t know if you remember we met at Dewsbury in the cup 2015, if memory serves we spoke on the phone and arranged to meet at the game. As for some of us meeting up I’m up for whatever is decided, it would be good to air our different views.

A decent day out as I took advantage of the Ale Trail including a very brief how do with John Kear at both Dewsbury and Huddersfield station bars. My Leigh suggestion was only a suggestion happy go with any flow
