Fair point Lefty. The pack on the whole was holding its own towards the end of the SL season. I wonder whether they are having to do more work to cover the deficiencies & inexperience in the rest of the squad & that's impacting on their main task. Or we could of course just be pants. 

The good thing is the French season is coming to its conclusion and the takeover got pushed back a month, so there’s at least a little bit of hope that with the takeover, a handful of incoming players will follow and the team should improve off the back of that.

Big Game tonight Albi v Carcassonne which will determine who finishes the regular season in 1st. The Canaries currently 1 point behind the Tigers. More to the point, looking at the squad lists for the top 4 teams, there doesn't seem to be many Aussies floating about & nobody of Whare's ability. We have 3 old boys at Pia, Hakim, Pellisier & Natoli but most clubs seem to have French half backs, which is a position we need strengthening even with the big fella back.
