| We are playing better when ALL are fit, but liked or lumped, we are now back to the injuries we had in the season we went down, I am not for one minute saying we are going to be in the same boat ! But, results are now familiar when we kept loosing by a few points, brilliant we have won 4 games, we usually do win between 6 to 10 games by the end of the season, with our first pack injured except hood, Powell's comment not mine we look like not matching Cas, it is what it is but I hope we can beat them but the odds are against us now !? Powell did not say anything about not matching Cas. Pre season we didn’t have as many injuries. We were in fact reasonably healthy this pre season and early season. If anything this past month we have been hovering around 6-10 players out every week. This post in that respect is very late to the party. Yes we probably aren’t favourites but we can match Cas in the middle mostly still snd have more quality on the edges, more so left edge. We could have carried this on in the magic weekend chat. I expect it to be a real battle but I see no reason we can’t come out on the winning side of the middles roll their sleeves up and we are smart in our attacks on the edges and to our strengths.

| I could have put money on who wrote this one when reading the title Personally I do not think we are similar to our relegation season in any way.

Was not injuries that cost us relegation in 2023 ,we were a poor teams Funny though that we are facing the same problem at present as then .At present spine is all over the place because of injuries , three-quarter line is short of pace in places because a coach will not change it .Same as 2023 , We just got to ride the storm out till we get the players back who will make a big difference .

| Well you say that but I think we'd have been better if Murphy, Tanginoa and Whitbread had been playing those games at 100%

Not only that but I’m sure we had other issues with Proctor, Langi and others. I just looked down the list of 2023 squad and it was frightening how the squad lacked so much quality. Apelgarth probably didn’t get enough credit for keeping us in the fight to avoid bottom up to the end. This squad to 2023 if you compare them we are far far stronger in every area.

Yes, but how often do we get the ball out to the edges? Johnstone's attacking skills are hardly brought into the game and not playing Walmsley is criminal

| Correct...Cas have been kicking high to their left edge in the last 2 games and have scored on both occasions, yet we have "Air Johnstone" in our team and the only time we kick it high for him is on short drop-outs, which he usually wins

Made even worse that Makinson last week was out and we just ignored that edge for 60 minutes. Even moving Lino to the left second half would’ve been a masterstroke. Anyway I can’t see us repeatedly attacking the right this week. That would be dumb. As for the Cas kicks this is why I would go Walmsley or Rourke. I like Russell but he would also be a target for high kicks. Not sure this is the game for him but we would add a boost in his strength and carries. So long as it’s not Scott.
