Me too. Too many players had an off day, we lacked leadership, and we couldn't find any rhythm. our play was uncharacteristic of us, and the spine looked lost. If i was to use any excuses, it would be that so far this season we're getting murdered by the ref, and both our SL games so far have been officiated differently. This new rule is destroying the game, and NOT speeding it up at all. Personally, I've never liked the 6 again rule, and now they're dishing them out like nobody's business. Too many points are being scored by the influence of the ref with teams be piggy backed up the field, and then another 6 again leads to a try. I want to see the players playing, and teams earning their points through skill, and determination rather than, penalty, 6 again, 6 again, offside then try.We then have to wait god knows how long while the VR checks the bloody thing. He might then need to check every camera angle 2/3 times, and possibly get it wrong. If it is a try, we have to wait for that stupid swinging needle. OH, and not to mention the Captains Challenge how they interpret the way it goes. I'm totally baffled how this great game of ours has gone. Rant over!
