| Will we ever be able to compete with the likes of Wigan, St Helens and Warrington on a consistent basis with Iestyn in charge? Can you see him coaching us to become Super League Champions?

| Go away Mario, and I urge people not to bother with this pointless poll.

| This poll is a bit pointless because the timing of it will influence the result. Run the same poll in about 3 weeks if the team hit some form and the outcome will be completely different.
It's like running a poll in January asking the question are you sick of the weather?

| I think salford will eventually get there if the Dr keeps ploughing the cash in but I don't see the rush. It takes times to build teams and you have to be pretty lucky to just throw loads of decent players into a squad and get instant success.
It takes time!
It would be common sense for the Dr to actually say we have a long term plan of say 5 years when we expect to challenging for the grand final. It won't just come over night. Sacking coaches every year doesn't help as the next coach wants different players and had different ideas so you go back to square one.
If you look at the champion winning teams like saints, Wigan and leeds, they have many home grown players alongside good quality players which Imo is the only way to go. The balance has to be right and I don't think this current salford team has the right balances.

Are you a pretend Wigan fan or a pretend Salford fan? I can't decide. Your Wigan twitter account tweets more about Salford than Wigan.

Agreed,he did enough at at the backend of last season to be given an extended run.
I hope he succeeds,obviously.
Yes,the players did underperform but he must take his fair share of responsibility . Goes with the territory .

| Is Harris the right man for the job probably not but removing him now would plunge us into a bit of a crisis.
I think there is a consensus that the hooking position is a major area of weakness. With that in mind I would take a risk on trying to sign Paul Carter. He was recently cut by the Gold Coast Titans because of 2 drink driving convictions. Howcver he is a quality player who won't get a club in the NRL for the foreseeable future.

Couldn't agree more although I believe if we don't win 3 of the next 6 games Harris will be gone.
We've signed some quality players on long term deals.
Michael Dobson - 2019
Ben Jones Bishop - 2018
Kevin Locke - 2018
Weller Huaraki - 2018
Rangi Chase - 2018
Surely by 2018 we're going to be up there challenging with the likes of Saints, Wigan, Leeds and Wire.

| I don't think Harris is the coach to take Salford forward.
Reality is he's an inexperienced coach who has a team of many strong personalities and many chiefs. The feeling I get is that he doesn't have the dressing room and have Salford working as a team to the systems he wants to employ. Don't think he's strong enough to handle the players.
I think it's too big a task for Harris and it's the coach that's the problem.
