I think we had technically paid him up to February this year in advance payment and held him to that, now we're effectively not going to pay anymore....it's release him or be in breach.

In general the NRL seem less forgiving of "foibles" than SL. Wonder whether clubs will show more interest if he starts to perform. The fact is I find he had behaved honourably he could have left at the end of his contract with a reputation similar to Jamie Lyons.

And looks like the Solomona case will be settled out of court - for something less than the £500k that Cas wanted.

This sort of stuff is a real concern. Particularly League to Union or vice versa.
