| Just had a call off my uncle and he was saying something about nick barmby winning his battle with allam and he thinks he heard them say it will have an impact at the kc for hull fc . He didnt get the gist of what was said so can someone help me put him out his misery ? Thanks  |

Does Barmby attend FC games? Know he's a Hull fan and remember him being gutted missing Cardiff as he had a game. Wondered whether he goes to games, has any involvement with the club. Was obviously close to AP at City.

Yes he has a box, last season he came and sat in the East stand with a few of the City academy players and 2 big gorilla looking blokes, very strong rumours he has financial interests in FC. |

I recall that there was. Apart from the two presenters, one being GL. David Burns was brought in & after a general discussion about the owners of Hull City & Nick Barmby & their agreement,David Burns & GL moved onto Adam Pearson & the matter of him leaving Hull City.
Briefly as I recall, it was something along these lines, it was mentioned that both sets of lawyers were involved & should it end up in court it could be interesting but it may end up being settled out of court. |

He's passed me in the South West corner a couple of times in the past few years on his way to seats in the West Stand. |

Nick accepts that his comments could have been misconstrued.The Club now accepts that Nick Barmby did not in any of his interviews with the media have any intention of disparaging the Club or its owners.'"
Both sides save face. Nick should be quite well off as I'm sure they must have had to pay handsome compensation, although that is it as for the statement and lets hope it's buried and Nick can get on with his life........
