| Let’s be Having you ! As Delia once cried into her mic Can we do it ?
I think we can ! I do
It’s hard to maintain motivation for every piece of Silverware so I can only hope Wigan take their eye off the Task in hand for them
Remember 2005 Semi F v Saints at Huddersfield - no one gave us a chance. Saints were complacent and we were desperate.
It’s a one off - we can do it !

| If we're going to win the cup, we're going to have to beat them at some point haha.
In all seriousness it's a shame the very favourable draw from the first round has evened itself out in such a way, would have been nice to have a bit of a run. I have a glimmer of hope that we might give them a bit more of a game than the scoreline suggested in round 2, but can't see us winning.
Hopefully no injuries or bans from this week and we can give it our best shot. Not sure if Rapana will pick something up, looked to go quite low on the legs as 4th man in the tackle in the 4th min of GP.

| Hopefully Hardaker back for this one so he's goes back in the centre for me and Rapana to full back.
Eseh and Watts cannot feature so otherwise no changes from Thursday.
I cannot see anything but a Wigan win but I would expect a better account of ourselves compared to the game in round 2.

| Is Rapana likely to cop a ban for this after Thursday? he’s already on 4 points and 100% the RFL will double down in favour of the ref even if it was soft.
Might be defeatist and I’m usually a cup run over league position person but I wouldn’t be bringing anyone back or playing anyone with a slight knock. Wakey and Cas away and Rovers at home are much more important now. The draw ended any cup ambitions we had.

| Just don't see this in the way others do & frankly it smacks of an overly defeatist attitude, although not surprising is part of the malaise of recent seasons.
An ambition to go out meekly, minimising the margin & evading injuries & suspension I just don't see as compatible with the new culture we are enjoying.
To me this is effectively our Grand Final - win this & Wembley is a distinct possibility.
We already know our likely league positioning ( 6th - 9th ) and can anticipate improved performances and far more wins than last season.
But the challenge cup is altogether different - many of the players & staff will have a burning desire to achieve, some may never get another chance.
We all know Wigan were phenomenal against us & in Vegas BUT we turned them over last year massively against the odds, also Leigh showed they're not unbeatable.
Sure it will be tough BUT if we want to showcase ourselves then this is a fantastic opportunity.
I can see a blood & thunder approach with nothing left in the tank, we can forgive the outfall if we do pick up some injuries in trying.
Come on youuuuuu UUUUULLLLLLLLLLLL

| Think a sin bin is punishment enough, could have cost us the game, don't think it warrants further punishment, if he hadn't got a yellow then fair enough.
But this is the RFL we are talking about.
Does anyone have a link to the points and how many games you get etc.

Not sure what the ruling is around dangerous contact, but Rapanas tackle at 9 mins (on the video) is the one that concerns me. He looks to make contact with the hip which is fine, but with the 3 players already making the tackle it forces the Leigh player into the opposite direction.
Hopefully both the yellows will be sin bin sufficient. Would be great to come out of another week of disciplinarys unscathed.

| Thanks for the link, anything other than a grade A would see Rapana banned if I've got that right?
