Wow doesnt time fly, the safe standing thread got me thinking about this, these 10 years have passed very quickly.

I remember pushing the kids round the perimeter of the pitch on an open day in there pram.

Theres no doubt the KC has helped transform our fortunes, been a lot of people come and go in that time too.

Whats your best and worst memories of the KC's first 10- years.

Beating Wigan to go top of the league, what an atmosphere.

The hammerings of Saints and Prekkies try.

Party in the park, especially the first one

Briscoes tries, Mainly Rovers and Leeds, but getting to be too many special ones to mention, oh and 1 tackle.

Briscoe's tackle was obviously massive.

Prekkie's try.

Tickle's drop goal and everyone signing "Oh when the Saints get beat by Hull" in the concourse.

Finally beating Leeds this season.

The Bradford Grand Final Eliminator is my favourite memory and particularly the last few minutes when we were certain of getting there.

Me too, that was the first season of me going regularly to rugby, so it was a pretty good way to start off!

Saints at home when we kicked the drop goal and the Derby with Briscoe's tackle in the last minute are my other favourite matches from the KC.

That was certainly a surreal moment walking out of the noise of the stadium and in to the noise of the fair.

Best would be James Webster's try during our 42-6 survival thumping.
Worst probably was Good Friday this year when you hammered us with a 2nd string side. We were truly outclassed on the day.

The Bradford play off game in 2006 was a great occasion. 16,000 in the ground and Hull Fair was on!

Other highlights were the four big wins over Saints around 2003-2005 and the tonkings of Widnes and Salford in 2004. The 27-26 comeback against Saints was fantastic too as was the big win over Wigan in 2006 when we led 42-0 at half time.

First game I managed to get to after a stint of working overseas was June 2003, Bradford in the league. Over 19000 at the game, the noise was unreal.

The derby victories (July 2010, Briscoe tackle takes some beating)

The play off games against Bradford in 06 and Wigan in 07 both had atmosphere which was amazing.

On the down side, any defeat to rovers, but then 42-6 game hurt. The play off lose for the team not really turning up wasn't far behind.

Losing the play off game to wakey in 04, although we were decimated by injury.

Getting walloped by St's 0-46.

On a non playing side,mthe foodmin the stadium is possiblymthe worst of any stadia imhave visited.

Highs:

The mental opening game with the two sendings off,

The Bradford game with 19.5K in the ground

The Leeds game that was 0-0 at Half Time in 2004, a 0-0 game may sound dull, but this was top class NRL style rugby.

The win against Leeds in 2007 (AKA the game with the flags) big crowd, great atmosphere, great win

The Derby in 2010 with Briscoe's last minute game saving tackle: the best derby of the modern era for entertainment IMO

The 2012 Derby: Not just because we won, but how we won in style with a bunch of kids and a returning Radford.

My favourite has to be the Bradford Playoff in 2006 though, the atmosphere was unreal with 10mins to go when we realised we were Grand Final bound.

Lows:

The Saints game in 2005: Freezing cold, and a team that clearly had 'issues' off the field, was painful to watch. I still have nightmares about Blacklock slowly wandering to reclaim the ball, only to lose it and let Saints score.

Wakefield 2011: Another freezing cold early season tie, but one where we realised we were in for another year of dire rugby. The most exciting part was the 'Agar Out' chants at the end.

The Rovers playoff defeat in 2010: A decent season was rounded off with a limp display that reminded us all (again) why we needed Agar out.

Oh and some team beat us 42-6, but I've erased this from the memory.

All of the above, but the Bradford game has to be the stand-out. The atmosphere was electric - I was ringing my dad to let him hear the atmosphere and when I got home he rang to say "sorry couldn't hear a word you were saying, all I could hear was Old Faithful being sung!!" That was the idea dad

Worst for me for sure. I remember walking away just ranting about everything to do with the club, and I'm usually a very optimistic fan. A real low time that was.

As well as the obvious ones that have been mentioned I remember quite fondly Prekkie's swan dive try between the sticks, if not only for the fact that he was soundly berated by the angered homosexual behind me who in the most camp manner ever called him an idiot and felt he could have dropped the ball! The champagne rugby try against rovers this year that was kick started by Whitings superb offload was brilliant as well, not the kind of try you're used to seeing Hull score at the KC.
